A Cool, Contemporary, Hackney Wedding

On 9 August 2019, the legal cashier supervisor wed manager inside a civil ceremony followed by a reception, overlooking Victoria Park in Hackney.

Marcie find the designer of her gown, then looked for a boutique that stocked it, leading her to London.

She'd fallen deeply in love with the clean, figure-hugging lines of designs, and decided on a gown having a hick's neck and plunging back, flowing right into a sexy, fluid train.

"The dress was always what I wanted for any wedding dress; I loved the simplicity of it."

"I have always loved the venue, and try to say I wanted to obtain married there. I love your building with its Georgian high ceilings, big windows, and pillars along with a great backyard that leads onto Victoria Park. I love easy and classic which was the design and style I went for at the time."

"The bridesmaids' outfits were my choice but my sister who would be a bridesmaid solved the problem. My niece would be a bridesmaid too. I wanted them both to put on a dress they would wear again. I also wanted a relaxed feel for them and never too formal."

The perfect gown was discovered and Marcie’s sister Carly wore gold wedges. Her niece, India, wore an adorable girls dress for wedding with gold shoes.

For the bride-to-be and groom, it had been love in the beginning sight once they met whilst traveling in Thailand.

"I was traveling having a friend and Gonzalo was too. We met around the island of Koh Tao in a beach club called Lotus. We spent per week together before I had to return to the UK."

"Gonzalo continued traveling along with a month later, I flew to travel Vietnam together for 2 weeks. That was whenever we realized we'd something special and Gonzalo chose to move to London and provide things a try."

At Hackney Town Hall, Gonzalo was waiting for that bride as she walked on the aisle together with her father, David, to 'End Titles' by Rachel Portman.

"We had a concept of what we wanted for the wedding photographers and we found that in Taylor-Hughes. They were in a position to capture the most amazing moments in a simple, classic way. We both truly love our wedding photos. Jack and Jade are a wonderful couple and extremely made our big day special effortlessly."
